Just because I was curious, I decided to see how quickly I could find my marriage record Online. I got married a little over 6 years ago, in late 2003, so the Internet was already is full use and records had been being kept electronically for a while.

I did a quick Google search for my local county courthouse website. The clerk of courts for Okalossa County, Florida was pretty easy to find. I then went to public records search and typed in my last name, selected the type of record I was looking for and also the date range.

Vioalla! Piece of cake! I found a link to a PDF file that contained the actual marriage certificate/ marriage license  that my wife and I signed. I know that we did get an actual, physical copy of it a little while after we got married, but I honestly don’t know where I filed it!

O well, that’s no big deal. I printed out and saved the PDF version just to have my own personal electronic and hard copy on hand. Not that I really need it for anything that I know of right now, but I just thought I’d share how quick and easy it was to find my marriage license on the Internet.

Even if you were married before records were kept electronically, there is still a very good chance that you can find an electronic version Online. Just because I was curious, I did some searching for other people. I saw different scanned copies of older marriage certificates from the 80’s & 70’s.

Many states started backing up old data by scanning the paper files in the early 2000’s. Not just marriage licenses, but birth certificates, death certificates, and more were scanned, backed-up and are now kept electronically. Each state and county is different, so it is up to you to do the searching.

A search can be as simple as a review of your local county courthouses records. Or you may want to use a little help from a website that accesses these types of public databases. Whatever you choose to do, there is a good chance that you can find the specific record that you are searching for pretty fast.

State Databases

Public records websites are usually just robust programs that access huge databases. These databases normally include things of public records like court records, DMV / motor-vehicle information, criminal records, property appraiser data,  and more.

Not all sites are created equal.  Some have taken the time to write better programs with farther and deeper reach. Getting access to state information can be done, but can also be tricky at time which is why websites that help do the searching for you are so popular.

You can find records from all fifty states easily on most public records sites today. Alaska to Alabama. Michigan to Maine. Washington to New York. California to Connecticut.  Texas to Wisconsin. Okay, you get the idea.

To visit the top state database website that I recommend, go to Gov-Records.com

If you are looking for personal information that is accessible to the public, you will find it there. Searching yourself could take you hours or more, when you can take all the grunt work out of it by using a website with access to multiple types of databases in all of the states!

What is the deal with those people next-door? Have you ever wondered about your neighbors? Sure, we all have at one time or another. Curiosity is natural, but at times it may be vital to the safety of you and your family.

Everyone is granted their privacy rights in our great country, but we also have the right to learn or discover information about anyone we wish too, within the law of course.

What’s great is that you can legally find out more stuff than you probably even thought that you could. If you have a new neighbor or person in your neighorhood whom you are concerned about, than do a background check on that person!

It may take some minor investigating on your part to learn some basic information first, but with just some minor data you can discover major things about almost anybody.

There are many public records databases out there, but only one that I know of that has combined and compiled several databases into one huge, easily search-able database that you can access from a website. That website I’m talking about is Gov-Records.com.

You will be amazed at the amount of things that you can find out with a couple clicks of your mouse.  Go ahead and get started!

A public background search can include and reveal several different forms of potential key information that may be useful to you for one reason or another. No matter what your reason for searching, the fact is that the information that you need to know is out there.

The information age has proven to live up to its’ name as pretty much anybody with Internet access can easily find personal data that use to take a private investigator to find out.

Today, all you need is the right website to find out the necessary information that may be important to you. My experience has led to rely on one main source for people search and related information. The site is Gov-Resources.com.

Whether you’re looking for someone from California to New York, Texas to Florida, or Washington to Alabama…you can most likely find it here.

Instead of having to search multiple sites to find all the right things you need, you can find it all in once place. Birth records, death records, court records, marriage records, divorce records, criminal records, military records…you name it and they’ve got access to the database.

Also use people search and find details such as address, phone number search, criminal history, and more. You really won’t understand the true power of this technology until you’ve personally experienced it. Go ahead and check out Gov-Resources.com right now!

The Internet has made it possible to locate all kinds of information from just about anyone alive.

Just a few of the types of records that you can usually find on the Internet today are marriage records, death records, divorce records, birth records, criminal records, credit reports, and more.

This abundance of information has also created a phenomenon know as ‘information overload’. It is easy to get lost, sidetracked, or just overwhelmed with the amount of data that is out there.

It can be hard to find the right information if you don’t know where to look. That’s why I created this site/blog. The resource that I recommend will help you find the information that you are looking for on just about any person out there. Take a look and see!
